We're very excited about this pacamara varietal from Carlos Remus out of El Salvador. We have been on the search for more high quality washed coffees recently and this one is exactly what we have been looking for. It's very rich with lots of clean fruit notes balanced with a heavy cola sweetness and a nice citric acidity. This coffee performs well on just about anything and works well with both higher and lower extractions. 
 
Carlos Mauricio Lemus Landaverde is a young producer who inherited his father’s 4-hectare farm after his father, Jose Maria Lemus, passed away in a car accident. Carlos is following in his father’s and family’s footsteps with regards to quality, though, and was awarded as the ninth-place winner in the 2017 El Salvador Cup of Excellence competition.
