CAFEC T-90 filters are what we use every day in our own cafe and have become a favorite throughout the specialty coffee world for their fast, consistent flow.
 
The T-90 is made from low-density paper with a unique two-sided crepe structure that creates more surface area and helps maintain water flow even as fine coffee particles collect during brewing. The result is a faster, more consistent drawdown with less tendency to clog or stall.
 
While CAFEC originally designed the T-90 for medium roasts, we especially enjoy using them with light-roasted coffees. Their higher flow rate gives you more freedom to grind finer or adjust your pouring technique while maintaining reasonable brew times, making it easier to push extraction while preserving clarity and flavor separation. Because these filters can flow differently than standard V60 papers, you may need to make small adjustments to your grind size or brew recipe, but that flexibility is exactly why we like them.
