This coffee comes from smallholder farmers surrounding Banko Gotiti in Gedeb, within southern Ethiopia’s Gedeo Zone. The farms sit at elevations of approximately 1,900–2,300 meters above sea level.
After sorting, ripe cherries undergo a 24-hour cold-water fermentation, then dry whole on raised beds for approximately three to four weeks. This processing method is known as Supernatural. It produces very fruit-forward cups while maintaining great clarity and complexity.
During harvest, the station employs more than 200 people and supports contributing farmers through prefinancing and educational resources.
