This coffee comes from smallholder producers in Qadamessa, a community in Ethiopia’s Agaro region of Western Ethiopia. Agaro has long been one of the most important sourcing regions in Ethiopia, known for coffees that arrive early in the season and continue to open up beautifully over time.

This lot was produced by farmers working very small plots, typically between 0.1 and 2 hectares, at elevations of 1,850–1,980 meters. The coffee is processed at the Duromina washing station, where cherries are mechanically depulped, soaked overnight, and dried on raised beds for 6–8 days.

The result is a clean, elegant washed Ethiopian coffee with the clarity, sweetness, and longevity that have made Agaro coffees so special year after year.
