Owned by Edwin Martinez, the owner and founder of Onyx Coffee Importers, Finca Vista Hermosa is a third-generation family farm in the highlands of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Founded by Felipe Martinez in 1957, the farm has grown from a remote mountain operation into a respected producer focused on quality, sustainability, and long-term relationships.

Today, the Martinez family grows primarily Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuaí varieties across elevations ranging from roughly 1,400 to 1,900 meters. The farm is divided into several distinct micro-lots, each shaped by altitude, variety, and the unique conditions of the surrounding mountains.

Beyond their own production, the family is deeply invested in supporting neighboring farmers through agronomy education and community outreach. Vista Hermosa represents generations of work, thoughtful farming, and a lasting commitment to Huehuetenango.
