"I've been a maker at heart since day one. I always knew if I had my choice of career, it would be in the creative world. In Spring of 2020, I received my BFA in ceramics from Ohio University and have been on a clay journey ever since.
 
With my pieces, I aim to celebrate the warmth and comfort that handcrafted pottery can bring to everyday life. I love making mugs because they exist in two worlds: the world where they foster connection through coffee dates and gift giving, and the other one where you're sitting in a moment alone, checking in with yourself"
 
Late last year we started an "Artist Series" program to feature and work with local artists. We loosely prompt them to produce merchandise that is inspired by the Pettibone brand but designed through the creative lens of the individual. This has been such a rewarding program and has allowed us to deepen our connection with the local community and foster mutually beneficial relationships with Daytons amazing artists. Purchasing these "Artist Series" items allows you to support and rep both your favorite artist and coffee shop at the same time!
